My approach to medicine

One of the reasons I became a Gastroenterologist is because people appreciate a functioning GI system EVERY single day. People breathe, sleep, walk and so much more - all without thinking about it. But everyone appreciates it when they have a satisfying poop every day. That’s why I chose Gastroenterology – to give people that small but lasting happiness on a daily basis.

Through my work in Functional Medicine, I branched out beyond treating only GI complaints. I came to appreciate the impact of nutrition, environment, stress and trauma on the gastrointestinal system and the long-lasting impact on the rest of the body. It has been my great privilege to be able to help people heal, in both body and mind, with this approach.

Come tell me your story. Together, we’ll uncover missing links and disease triggers and get you back on the path to feeling better.
